St. John's UMC Neighborhood Cleanup
The Church is looking for volunteers from the New Pathways Neighborhood — or if you want to suggest others that we should contact — who would like to join St. John's on Saturday morning, March 7th, from 9 until 11:30 a.m. at the corner of Peabody and Waldran to get going on keeping this area clean. St. John's and the Church Health Center will provide the supplies and organization. We hope you will add volunteers!
Our hope is to get interest generated so we can keep this going and keep the area clean.
Please contact Ann Langston if you or others in your organization will join the effort, or let her know of others we need to contact.
Many thanks,
Ann

Neighborhood Council Meeting
Our next New Pathways Neighborhood Council Meeting will be Monday, February 9 at 5:30 PM at Tabernacle of Praise, 306 S. Somerville. [view meeting report]
Pastor Derrick Davis has graciously agreed to be our host. I will send another reminder closer to the time but wanted you all to get this on your calendar.
At our last meeting we agreed to make a special effort to get other neighborhood residents to attend. Octavia is going to make contact with the residents of the Victorian; I am going to contact the homeowners on Dudley and I urge each of you to reach out to others.
Pastor Davis told me that Renessa now has a home in Whitehaven. Happy Season to all.
